In this Order Portal Login Screen shot, we can see the three Email collection conversation points.  The primary one of the screen is obviously the Log In, in the center of the screen.  We will not go through the create account process but later we will just review the data fields which can be collected on our five user types.

 

On the top left, the "Questions and Requests" menu option leads to a request form users can fill out for requests or questions. Email addresses collected through this conversation are generally not included in the Email Round Trip Function.

 

Also, on the top right, there is an Enter Email Box for those who want to receive Emails (Opt In).  This is an independent function from the User Types or Requests.  Emails collected through this conversation are generally included in a relevant Email Round Trip function.  Because, there can be many website instances in one Order Portal.  The instance in which the Email address was collected is added in the data base so segmentation can be done as different websites will generate different users or the same user with different interests.
